Message : I honestly have thought about this and we all know the 300zx is a very heavy car especially with body kit, stereo equipment etc.. How can I get my car 600-1000lbs lighter with keeping all my stock panels, radio equipment and windows? We all know that a lighter car puts less load on an engine.

: So far I have removed:

: My spare tire but its replaced with a box and one 10" sub :)
: AC
: The complete Hicas (Everything)
: Stock seats have been replaced with Corbeau seats
: Driveshaft has been replaced to a one piece
: RPS Twin Carbon/Carbon should be lighter than stock

: but the following items add weight so its a no win situation

: Complete Body Kit
: Two Amps
: NOS
: Front Mount Intercooler
: 18" Wheels
: Numerous Gauges
: RollCage
: Etc Etc..

My buddies machine shop has a heavy duty plasma cutter that can literally cut through anything. They turned a scrap Volks Fox into a conv. in about two minutes. Should I hollow out my doors? Any ideas welcomed.
